Dr Manmohan Singh did his doctorate in economics in Oxford. He
obtained a Undergraduate degree in 1957 from St. John's College at
Cambridge University and a PhD in 1962 from Oxford University
(Nuffield College).
The University of Oxford awarded him an honorary Doctor of Civil Law
degree in June 2005, and in October 2006, the University of
Cambridge followed with the same honor.

at the age of 15 to attend Harrow. He then went on to study natural
sciences at Trinity College, Cambridge before choosing to train as a
