Eligibility
 

Student Visas

As a student wanting to study in UK you must show that you have been accepted onto a course of study at one of the following:
 

  • A publicly-funded institution of further or higher education ie. a university or college.

  • A private education institution that maintains satisfactory records of enrolment and attendance for students and offers courses which lead to qualifications recognized by the appropriate accreditation bodies.

  • An independent fee-paying school outside the maintained sector.

To be eligible for a UK student visas you must intend to attend one of the following:
 

  • A full-time degree course.
    or
  • A weekday course at an institution which includes at least 15 hours of organized daytime study a week.
    or

  • A full-time course of study at an independent fee-paying school.


You must be able to prove that you can pay the costs of your course, accommodation and that you can afford to support yourself and any dependents without taking on full-time employment or engaging in business or having recourse to public funds. You should also intend to leave the country at the end of your studies.
