Why study in the UK ?
The UK is one of the most popular destinations for international students to study. Its reputation for educational excellence dates back hundreds of years, and with over 3000 education institutions throughout the UK enrolling International students the UK offers much more flexibility than many other countries.

The UK’s diverse and multicultural society welcomes students from all over the world and makes them feel at ease about studying away from home. In the majority of universities over 90 countries will be represented on one campus. The second largest intake of International students to UK Universities are from India and the numbers have been rising year on year.

Worldwide Recognition
Degrees and qualifications obtained at a UK educational institution are recognized across the globe and are known for being of the highest quality. Having studied at a UK institution can be of great benefit to you when seeking employment in the future anywhere in the world.

Lower Education Fees
The costs of tuition fees in the UK are considerably less when compared to others countries, for example the USA where you could be expected to pay in excess of $25,000 per year. In the UK the course fees arrange from £5,000 to £10,000 per year. In comparison to other countries the duration of a degree course is also less in the UK, which again will reduce the cost of you studying overseas. The typical degree program consists of a 3 year course with a masters program being 1 year.

Work whilst studying
International Students are able to work up to 20hrs during their studies and fulltime during breaks in the education terms. The UK has a minimum wage structure for all employees 18yrs – 21yrs £4.60 per hour, 22yrs plus £5.52 per hour. Although being able to work during your time is beneficial both in terms of money and being involved in society it can also be time consuming. It is important to not let your studies take a back seat to any work you take on and don’t rely on finding work to fund you through your degree course.
